Note cards and Notelets on Fine Art Paper

If you have ever really liked the design on a card and wanted to frame it, but the quality of the print or the paper was not suited to this, then you may like the idea of having a design printed as a card on a choice of some of these Fine Art Papers, which are very high quality papers that are prized for the quality of their surface and their durability.  Below are a choice of 4 different fine art papers for folded paper note cards, several of which are made from cotton, which is a traditional way of making paper particularly from rag, a very old method of recycling, and rag paper is sometimes made from cuttings left over from making up cotton garments.  It is usually quite a strong paper which lasts a long time and does not often “yellow” with age, although it is rarely a “bright” white, rather a natural ivory colour.  There is one FSC grade paper made from wood pulp, which is *acid free*, has a rich creamy colour and deckled edges.  The images are printed with water based inks and the cards are wrapped in clear biodegradable bags.  The labels are made from recycled paper.  Cards are blank inside for your own message.  Printed greetings can also be added to some cards.

Any designs from the airbrushed images, digital collections or Flowers, fine art pictures may be printed on Fine Art Card, although square cards are  available just as 4 Flower Collections at the moment.  There is no minimum order quantity and any mix of designs may be ordered.

Images printed onto Fine Art Card  made from 100% cotton with deckled edges and tissue lined envelope, size A6

• A5 sheet folded to A6 (approx. 105 x 148 mm) with a weight of 240 gsm
• Traditionally made “acid free” German mould made paper
• 100% cotton, which gives it a soft but strong surface, with a natural white colour
• Surface prepared for digital printing.
• Matching C6 envelope, made from the same 100% cotton paper but with a weight of 120 gsm, which is lined with pale grey tissue paper
• Deckled edges on each side of the card as well as on the diamond shaped flap of the envelope
• Art deco inspired border  (by Anne Fontenoy) Space between the double grey lines of the border is filled with a gradient fill of tones of cream, natural white and grey, echoing the colour of the paper and the pale grey tissue lining of the envelope

• Italian FSC grade paper
• Surface prepared for digital printing.
• The 200 gsm, mould made card is a soft, creamy ivory colour with deckled edges
• The fold for both portrait and landscape layouts is on the left hand side of the card.
• Each design is printed onto the card without any borders at all
• The envelopes, which are 120 gsm, have smooth edged flaps.
• Any designs from the airbrushed images, digital collections, Flowers or fine art pictures may be printed on this card.

Alternatively, you may phone, post or e-mail an order to me.  Or you can make an appointment to see my products at my base in High Brooms, which is the north part of Tunbridge Wells.  All cards are made to order so you will either need to order cards in advance of an appointment to collect your order, or you may make an appointment to view images but your cards will then need to be made and posted or collected.  Please allow enough time for cards to be made especially if you wish to order Christmas Cards or Christmas notelets.  Please see the page Note Cards & Prints for ordering details
